RAZZLE DAZZLE!

RAZZLE DAZZLE!

These are some things that I might say if I were a robot.

This video was inspired by the feeling of hopelessness I felt while taking a shower today. I was thinking outloud and asked myself several times ‘What am I doing?’. There was no reply because I didn’t know and still don’t know but I thought this video might help.

Our suffering and pains are not simply bothersome interruptions of our lives; rather they touch us in our uniqueness and our most intimate individuality. The way I am broken tells you something unique about me. The way you are broken tells me something unique about you.

It is very easy to feel like the beloved here because God’s beauty is not just made visible in the vast mountain ranges and tree lines but also in the people. The people in Anchorage are so nice and respectful. I’ve been in Alaska with my wife and her family since Sunday and I suddenly don’t feel SO claustrophobic and empty.

When I am placed like a speck in the middle of such vast beauty and no longer a speck amongst millions in a giant city. A peace washes over me and it becomes easier to love with all of my heart. It leaves you feeling loved and God speaks to you with clarity.

So, it has been almost a week since my last post but there is good reason. You see I have been in Anchorage, Alaska since Sunday night visiting with my wife’s family for the holidays and I have been spending a lot of time embracing the beauty of this winter wonder land. My camera has come with us and I intend to edit something together with all the footage I have captured and intend to capture on the rest of this trip.
